
Isabella is a Master of Public Policy candidate at the University of California, Los Angeles Luskin School of Public Affairs, where she is studying workforce development and technology policy. She is currently completing her capstone policy project, establishing creative strategies for the public sector workforce to utilize in implementing GenAI tools. Isabella has experience and is passionate about engaging in political advocacy, research, and conducting policy analysis dedicated to alleviating poverty and moving California into the future.
Isabella grew up moving several times as a military kid but claims the Bay Area as her home. Before coming to Los Angeles, Isabella lived in Sacramento where she served in Governor Newsom’s Office under Appointments Secretary Cathryn Rivera. She has participated and managed research groups documenting venture capital investment trends for the Annenberg Foundation and worked on several projects pertaining to tech policy, re-entry, workforce development. She has experience doing constituent casework for Senator Nancy Skinner’s District Office as well as campaign work for CALPIRG at UC Berkeley where she registered new voters for the 2020 election.
Isabella has a bachelor's degree in political science from the University of California, Berkeley, where she was Team Captain and competed for the Division 1 Rowing team. In her free time, she loves to spend time outside, run, and listen to audiobooks.
