JCI Welcomes Three New Summer Associates

We are excited to add three new summer associates to the JCI Worldwide team!

Prakriti Bhanot has professional experience in branding, copywriting, and human resources. She works at JCI to help Account Coordinators with research, reporting, and media outreach, and community participation. Prakriti formerly worked at AdFactors PR, a multi-specialist, full-service communications company in India before she joined JCI. She worked on projects with non-profit clients, assisting them with CSR collaborations, media outreach, and bringing in sponsorships for social impact organizations. As an Associate, Prakriti is keen to explore the nuances of traditional public relations strategies while also acquiring experience in the realm of public affairs.

Prakriti is a master's student at the University of Southern California studying Public Relations and Advertising. She is a research volunteer at the Center for Public Relations at USC Annenberg.

Claire Oberle has professional experience in government affairs, content creation, research, public speaking, and cross-cultural communication. At JCI, she assists Account Coordinators with reporting, research, and outreach.

During the academic year, Claire works as a digital media assistant for the USC Price School of Public Policy, creating press releases and content for numerous social media platforms. Before this, Claire served as a government affairs intern for Celanese, where she engaged in policy research and aided in lobbying efforts for the chemical company. Born in Chicago and raised in China and the Netherlands, she is eager to learn more about California politics. Claire will graduate with her Bachelor of Science in Public Policy from the University of Southern California in May 2025. She is also pursuing minors in Risk Management and Law and Migration.

Olivia Shrager has professional experience working with campaigns, media organizations, and local politicians. At JCI, she assists staff with graphic design work, creative writing, and account research.

Prior to JCI, Olivia interned with the Karen Bass for Los Angeles mayor campaign. While there, she communicated with influencers to repost pro-Bass content, created infographics and reels for their Instagram account, and took photos at Ms. Bass’ press conferences. While working for Los Angeles Councilmember Bob Blumenfield, she designed graphics to promote his political projects for his Instagram and his monthly newsletters. As an associate at JCI, Olivia is looking forward to learning more about public affairs while strengthening her writing abilities. Olivia is a rising senior at Scripps College majoring in Media Studies.
